Northeast Denver Islamic Center is a multi-cultural community center established as a place of worship for the Islamic community. The center is designed to address the spiritual needs of the Muslim community as well as the social needs of the community at large regardless of religious belief. In addition to being a place of prayer, the center offers educational programs addressing the needs of at-risk populations in Northeast Denver, such as parenting classes, English as a Second Language (ESL), life skills and job readiness classes for persons reentering the community from prison.

Our missions is to establish a model Islamic community emphasizing and applying the ideal values of islam in education, economics, health, culture and governance.
In addition to what is specified in its above mission the Masjid provides counseling services to the Muslim community. The Masjid board is planning an ambitious project to build low-income housing on part of the Masjid property. This project will need staffing to help with the planning and raising of funds to complete the project. Also the Masjid provides wrap-around services that include mental health services and substance abuse. The Masjid provides maintains a food pantry and gives food baskets to needy families who are mostly African Americans.
